While drinking Sun Crest Orange Soda I had to remind myself that it is not an orange cream soda because my first impression was a little disappointing with how plain orange this soda was – but I can’t mark it down for that because this is just an orange soda. I was impressed with the vintage-looking Sun Crest label and that’s what enticed me to buy this in the first place. Sun Crest Orange Soda is exactly what it says it is – an orange soda. Unfortunately, there are no frills, no thrills and no surprises with this drink. The label is the best part in fact. I wouldn’t be able to tell that difference between Sun Crest Orange Soda and Crush. That’s not a bad thing, but this had so much promise. The sweet label – the vintage looking logo, the bright orange color is so enticing but the experience is only mediocre. It’s sweet, pretty smooth, and orange-like. There isn’t much more I can say about it. If you’re looking for that then this would be a good fit for you. If this review is harsh it may be because my expectations were unrealistic. I was looking for something more than orange but in the end that’s all this soda is claiming to be orange.
