Nesbitt’s has been around since 1924 and is still made with cane sugar, making it the very definition of old-fashioned soda. The peach flavor of Nesbitt’s soda is the first one that I’ve been able to try. The soda is a pinkish orange color that matches the clean, simple label. Summer is just around the corner which means peach season will soon be here. I was hoping that Nesbitt’s peach soda would be able to tide me over. Sadly, the soda’s peach flavor is mostly covered up by the carbonation. The flavor that does come through the carbonation, however, is sweet and refreshing but a little too artificial. Taking a look at the ingredients, I see the words “artifical flavors” and “contains no juice.” It’s a shame because a naturally-flavored peach soda sounds really great. As it stand, Nesbitt’s peach soda is more similar to Peachie O’s than it is to a real peach.
